Ms Ganley's Class - 6G 2019 - 2020

Ms Ganley

Hi-Welcome to Year 6D's class page...

Teacher-Miss Dobie, Ms Ganley

Our days in Year 6 are packed full and so it's really important that we always come to school with all the things we need (including a positive attitude!).  PE is on Tuesday and Friday and reading books and reading records should be in every day.  Homework is given out on a Wednesday and is due in on a Monday. Spellings are given out on a Wednesday ready for the spelling quiz the following Monday.

As we are some of the oldest children in the school, we strive hard to be positive role-models and are given more independence across the school day.

Our expectations are high and we strive to foster the development of the children through provision of a planned, engaging, stimulating, safe and secure environment which is structured with developmental needs in mind.  We also aim to stimulate emotional and spiritual growth.

To see what we are learning this year in Year 6, please have a look below at our long term plan and topic webs.

We strive each day to live our lives following Jesus' example and so everyone is welcome in our class.  If you ever pop into school, you'll see that we're always smiling and helping each other to be the best that we can be.

Of course, we manage to fit all of this in in-between an efficient and comprehensive preparation for our transition to high school from this, our final year at St Margaret Mary's.

Please take a look around our galleries to see all the brilliant things we do in Year 6
