We were very lucky to have 'City of trees in conjunction with the Woodland Trust' come in to school to help us with this very exciting project. Not only did we learn lots of interesting facts about why trees are so important to us but we got to plant them and help begin their journey growing as part of our outdoor garden. The trees will grow into a small orchard and will additionally create a hedgerow along the car park area. We planted a number of different types of trees. It was a privilege for year 5 to take a part in such a great project! We look forward to seeing them grow...
