A number of our children in Key Stage 2 have taken part in a poetry competition run by the Woodland Trust. We are over the moon to inform you that Havery Armstrong was selected as the winner and therefore has won a trip to Brockholes for himself and his entire class next half term! Also a huge congratulations to the runners up which were Joel Lynch and Theo Wilson who won a trophy each! Well done to all those children that entered and a huge congratulations to those three children.
A Forest School by Harvey Armstrong
I've loved Forest School, it's been so good,
We played disappearing ninjas and explored our wood.
We kicked up leaves and jumped in mud,
we built friendships and experiences, just like we should.
We built a fire, then I made a Smore,
we sat happily on logs, Forest School life I adore.
Peoples postcode lottery we thank you endlessly,
for supporting our school its helped us tree-mendously!
