Uniform

At St Margaret Mary’s we ask that all children wear school uniform when attending school, or when participating in school-organised events outside normal school hours. We ask children to take pride in their personal appearance; we promote the belief that school is an important part of life and should be viewed accordingly. 

The agreed uniform list:

White short/long-sleeved shirt 

Green jumper or cardigan (jumpers or cardigans embroidered with the school logo can be purchased from Ziggy’s, these are optional.)

Grey long trousers, grey shorts, a grey skirt, grey pinafore or a green gingham summer dress

Red tie 

Flat, black shoes (not trainers)

PE Kit

Black shorts, black jogging bottoms, black leggings (No brand logos)

Plain white t-shirt (No brand logos)

Green hoodie with embroidered logo

Trainers/Black pumps

Jewellery is not permitted; this includes rings, chains, earrings and stud earrings. Nail varnish is not permitted. 

Long hair is to be tied back.

Wristwatches may be worn but only for the purpose of telling the time. Smartwatches linked to mobile phones are not permitted.
