Planting Peace

Today we were delighted to join Manchester Metropolitan University, the Lord Mayor and other dignitaries for the planting of their Peace tree. The Gingko Bilbao tree is sister to the tree that we won in a Peace Art competition from the seeds surviving the Hiroshima blast. We have now been awarded our Plaque after naming our tree Pax Patienta - latin for Peace and Endurance from a range of other names. We are glad to "plant peace" in our School and the children were superb ambassadors, explaining how important Peace is and how to achieve it. We look forward to promoting peace further and sharing more news with you. "Peace be with you."
