‘We try to follow Jesus in everything we do’

Year 4 Forest school journey

The children in Year 4 had lots of fun during their time in the forest school. The children created a team flag using mud paint, played lots of games including disappearing ninjas, which proved to be a favourite, and learnt lots of new skills. The children built shelters using tarpaulins and learnt a variety of knots. Using their knowledge of knots, the children created a ninja throwing star and set up throwing area to knock down targets. The children used a bowsaw and a hand drill to create their own forest school tree cookie. During the last session, we created a fire and toasted a marshmallow; this was definitely a highlight for most of us! Take a look at our photographs to see what we've been doing.
