Nursery Dig Dinosaurs

Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Miss Wilson - Nursery Year: 2018 - 2019

The Nursery have enjoyed being Paleontologists and going on their own Dinosaur dig.

They were transported back 65 million years and found the remains of dinosaurs whilst using special equipment like real Archeologists and then sorting and classifying them.

Scientists believe that the dinosaurs may have become extinct because of a massive meteorite which blocked the sun causing plants and the food system to wither.

The Nursery have also enjoyed a variety of fiction books about dinosaurs such as "Gigantasaurus," "Dinosaur Roar," "Dinosaurs love underpants," and "Dinosaurs and all that Rubbish."
